Sample 10 Day Tour

Day 1
Reception and transfer to your hotel on the Mediterranean Coast for a good night’s sleep.

Day 2
Breakfast and meeting with Dugit Ministries. We will visit the ancient Herodian port of Caesarea, visit the 2,000-year-old theater, ruins and remains of the port where Paul sailed off to Rome on his last missionary journey. We are then off to Mt. Carmel, where Elijah battled the Gods of Baal and where we will see an overall view of the Valley of Armageddon. At the fortress city of Megiddo, you will explore nearly 25 levels of ancient civilization as you walk through its ruins and witness its strategic significance. The beautiful mosaics of Zippori are a must – a city which prospered during the time of Christ. As we end the day, we will drive through Jesus’ childhood home of Nazareth and Cana, the sight where, at the wedding, Christ performs His first miracle. We then proceed to our hotel by the Sea of Galilee for dinner and rest.

Day 3
We begin the day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. We will be able to see for ourselves the famous remains of the 2,000-year-old fishing boat from the period of Christ. At the ruins of Capernaum we will visit the “His own Town”, the home base of Christ’s Galilean Ministry and where many of His miracles were performed. Then up to the Mt. of Beatitudes where the ”Sermon on the Mount” was first spoken. We will visit the newly explored site of Magdala, the home of Mary Magdalene, and return to our hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 4
From the epic Arbel Summit we will gain an overview of Christ’s Galilean Ministry. We will travel north to the strategic Golan Heights, visit Banias (Caesarea Phillipi where the Lord asked His desciples the famous question, “who do you say that I am?”) and explore Tel Dan featuring Jeroboam’s biblical altar before returning to our hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 5
Today, you will have an opportunity to be baptized at the Jordan River. We will visit the biblical city of Beit She’an and learn about the events surrounding the death of King Saul and his sons. At the springs of En Harod we will talk about Gideon and his 300 warriors, and then continue south through the Jordan Valley to Jericho and ascend the ancient pilgrim road to Jerusalem. Special dinner with Victor Kalisher from the Bible Society in Israel. Brother Victor will be sharing beautiful things regarding the work of the Gospel going forth in Jerusalem and all throughout the land. This will be a special evening! Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 6
We begin our day on the Mount of Olives with its panoramic view of the walled city of Jerusalem, and walk down the Palm Sunday Road to the Garden of Gethsemane for prayer and meditation. Entering the Old City we will walk along the Via Dolorosa and visit the Pool of Bethesda, Ecce Homo, Temple Mount, Western Wall, and the excavated Southern Steps, ending our day with worship and communion at the Garden Tomb. Return to our Jerusalem hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 7
At the Israel Museum, we will study the famous model of the second Temple Jerusalem during the times of Jesus, and visit the Shrine of the Book where some of the Dead Sea scrolls are on display. We will continue to the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament, visit the Holocaust Memorial at Yad Vashem and end our day in Bethlehem and the Shepherds’ Field. Return to our Jerusalem hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 8
Your guide will recommend a number of options to fill your day.

Day 9
Driving south into the Judean desert to the lowest part of the earth! Ascending Masada by cable car, we will learn the Jewish zealot’s final stand against the might of Rome and hike the Oasis of Ein Gedi to the hidden waterfall where David took shelter during his pre-kingdom days. Later we will visit Qumran where many of the “Dead Sea Scrolls” were found, and enjoy a biblical Dinner in Abraham’s Tent at Genesis Land for the ultimate culinary and cultural desert experience. Return to our hotel rest.

Day 10
Be transferred to the airport for your departing flight back home.
